KALAHEO — Sanida Pahulehua netted a game-high 13 points to lead the Waimea Minihunes to a 37-15 win over Kalalea in the first of two games Wednesday night in Kalaheo.
Jondale Aceret-Ipac added six with Bristy Agu and Robin Moura each contributing five points in the win at the county’s 14 and Under girls basketball league.
Tori Tuttle finished with 11 points to lead Kalaleo. Shalyn Tupou added four in the effort.
Janessa Grady finished with seven, Malia Kagawa and Sierra Mayer each chipping in six points to lead the Lihu‘e Island Heat to a 36-21 showing over the Lihu‘e Kamakazes who were led by Lacey Lucas and Courtney Contrades. The Kamakazes’ players finished with six points apiece.
