Teresa DeAguiar of Kapa‘a, died Nov. 24 2006, at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital at the age of 81.
Born Dec. 21, 1924, in Madeira, Portugal, she was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband Augusto DeAguiar, she is survived by her daughter Celina (Doug) Haigh of Kapa‘a; two sons, John (Laur) DeAguiar and Tony (Jodie) DeAguiar, both of California; one brother Frank (Ann) Silva of Florida; four sisters, Sister Rosario Silva and Sister Leonia Silva, both of Portugal, Mary Morris of Massachusetts and Delores (Frank) Joaquin of Massachusetts; six grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa‘a where Mass will begin at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in California.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.

Irene Evelyn Ebesu of Kapa‘a died at home on Nov. 22, 2006, at the age of 83.
Born in Lihu‘e on July 4, 1923, she was a dedicated homemaker.
She is survived by her husband Masami Richard Ebesu; five children, LaVerne (George) Huddy of Kapa‘a, Bronwyn (Bob) Farias of Kapa‘a, Maureen (Carl) Dusenberry of Waimea, Derek (Cindee) Ebesu of Kapa‘a, Zoe Ann (Myles) McCullen of Kapa‘a; brother, Melvin (Gladys) Mandrigues of O‘ahu; sister Bernette (Matsuo) Fujinaka of Kapa‘a; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, from 9 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. by Fr. Al. Burial will follow at St. Catherine cemetery in Kealia.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Feliciana Geronimo of Kaumakani, died at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home on Nov. 15, 2006 at the age of 76.
Born in Batangas, Philippines, on Nov. 27, 1929, she was a housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Teodorico; four sons, Delfin (Victoria) Geronimo of ‘Ele‘ele, Justino (Rebecca) Geronimo of Hilo, Hawai‘i, Vereno (Vangie Butay) Geronimo of Kaumakani and Marcial (Wilma) Geronimo of ‘Ele‘ele; four daughters, Norma (Rodrigo) Del Rosario of Spanaway, Wash., Angeles Alonzo of Laoag City, Philippines, Josephine (Jose Macalma Jr.) Geronimo of Kaumakani and Juanita (Steven Babas) Tabilisima of Hilo; 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Felipa Custodio of Batangas, Philippines; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins-in-law.
Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, at the Garden Island Mortuary chapel service at 7 p.m. Visitation also from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at Holy Cross Catholic church in Kalaheo; Mass at 11:30 a.m. Followed by burial at Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Aloha attire is suggested.
