Ruth Yukiko Nishimoto, a resident of The Regency at Puakea, Lihu‘e, died at her home on Nov. 5, 2006, at the age of 79.
Born Dec. 16, 1926, in Waialua, Hawai‘i, she was a retired laboratory assistant at Wahiawa General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harold Tetsuo Nishimoto; sons, Nathan (Candice) Nishimoto of Orange County, Calif. and Dr. Craig (Annette) Nishimoto of Kalaheo; and four grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Friday, Nov. 17, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Mililani Memorial Park Makai Chapel. Memorial service to begin at 11 a.m. Aloha attire is suggested.
Local arrangements by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.; arrangements on O‘ahu are being handled by Mililani Mortuary.
Rosemary Ann Jones
Rosemary Ann Jones of Kilauea died Oct. 31, 2006, at her residence in Kilauea, at the age of 81.
Born July 26, 1925, in Wisconsin, she was a retired salesperson.
She is survived by her daughter Claudia Beddoes of Kilauea; son Christopher Leahy of California; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel.
Yoshio Matsumoto of Aiea died Oct. 27, 2006, at Kuakini Medical Center at the age of 77.
Born Oct. 30, 1928, in Koloa, he was a retired field worker in McBryde Plantation.
He is survived by brothers Tatsune Matsumoto, Masao Matsumoto and Yasuo Matsumoto, and sister Hatsumi Wong.
Services were private.
Arrangements were handled by Moanalua Mortuary.
Alfonsa Riola died Nov. 2, 2006, in California at the age of 93.
She is survived by six children: Alec, Art, Tony, Larry, Frank and Sylvia, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending.
