The Wilcox Family Imaging Center last year welcomed patients to the new center with the latest in diagnostic imaging technology. With new equipment that includes CT Scanner, MRI and nuclear medicine camera, patients can receive diagnostic imaging on Kaua‘i by technologists who are highly trained and experienced, states a Wilcox release.
This week has been designated national Radiologic Technology Week to focus on the safe medical radiation environment provided through the skilled and conscientious efforts of radiologic technologists — the people who operate the diagnostic equipment and perform the procedures.
