Norvin Alvarado
Norvin Alvarado died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Sept. 28, 2006, at the age of 38.
Born in Waimea on Nov. 21, 1967, he is survived by four brothers, Romeo (Benita) Alvarado of Honolulu, Honorato (Jocelyn) Alvarado of Honolulu, Nolan (Zelda) Alvarado of Honolulu and Alipio Jr. (Jerri Mabe) Alvarado of Maui; two sisters, Donna (Clayton Ancheta) Fernandez of Kaua‘i and Feme Alvarado of Makakilo; numerous uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service at 11 a.m. followed by burial at the Hanapepe Public Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested.

Jeanne Yoshiko Stanwood
Jeanne Yoshiko Stanwood of Kapa‘a died at home on Sept. 16, 2006, at the age of 88.
Born in Honolulu, O‘ahu on May 23, 1918, she was a retired social worker with the State of Hawai‘i. Preceded in death by her sister, Phoebe Ching, she is survived by three sons, Edward Kei Stanwood of O‘ahu, Niki (Phyllis) Stanwood of Lihu‘e and Ryo Stanwood of Plano, Texas; one grandchild; three brothers, Robert “Shun” Namba, Ryoji Namba and Calvin Namba; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were private.
