Kumie D. Simao of Kalaheo died May 23, 2006, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 80.
Born March 30, 1926, in Waimea, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by five sons: Darrel (Diana) Simao, Mark (Sharmaine) Simao, Russell (Margie) Simao, Matthew (Corrine) Simao, and Luke (Blythe) Simao; two daughters: Clennis (Delayne) Pai and Leanne Correa; 26 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 2 at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, where Mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m. by Father Nap. Cremation will follow.
The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Fusako U. Ogata
Fusako U. Ogata of Honolulu died May 11, 2006, at Kapolei at the age of 93.
Born Jan. 15, 1913, in Hanapepe, she is survived by four sons: Hideo Ogata of Honolulu, Richard T. (Ann) Ogata of Lihu‘e, Roy M. (Nancy) Ogata of Seattle, and Wayne A. Ogata (Jeanette) of Honolulu; two daughters: Eleaine A. (Lindsey) Arita and Ethlyn E. (Thomas) Kawamura, both of Honolulu; two brothers: Jiro (Helen) Ueda and Dr. Norman (Kazue) Ueda, both of Honolulu; brother-in-law: Dr. Daniel Noda; sister-in-law: Akiko Uyeda; 14 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Private services were held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary on May 21.
Arrangements were handled by Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary.
George Perreira, Sr.
George Perreira Sr. of Kalaheo died May 28, 2006, at his home in Kalaheo at the age of 81.
Born March 3, 1925, in Kalaheo, he was a retired maintenance supervisor with Dynalectron.
He is survived by his wife: Hilda Leandro Perreira of Kalaheo; four sons: Ronald (Val) Perreira of Kahaoe, George (Charmaine) Perreira, Jr. of Waimea, Michael Perreira of Carnation, Wash, and Thomas Perreira of Lawa‘i; daughters: Loretta (Walter) Ritte of Molokai, Kris (Wil) Sagocio of Kalaheo; two brothers: Manuel Perreira and Alvin Perreira; one sister: Angie Muschette; 17 grandchildren: Tiare, Li-Ana, Kalaniua and Kamohai Ritte; Ronnie Boy, Greg and Jason Perreira; Malia, Brian and Byron Perreira; Kalei Fermin and Tiana Fermin Perreira; Kaimana, Puamelekule and Kahea Sagocio; Punahele Duarte-Perreira; and Glice Planas-Perreira; and 20 great grandchildren: Kiley and Brennan Perreira; Giani, Jaimie and Ryder Kupo-Perreira; Aolani Ahina, Keola Ritte Manangan, Nanea and Kamaki Manangan; Iolana, Kekamaha‘o and Keli‘iKipiKane Corpuz; Leihiwahiwa Ritte; Kamakana Mollena-Ritte; Brigg Kupo-Perreira; Keanu and Kawehi Harris, Zaiyeh and Zayna Matsusaka Perreira; and Alize Perreira-Soares; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elvira Tabares, brother Tony Perreira and sister Flora Torres.

Rodolfo Juliano of Lihu‘e died May 19, 2006, at Queen’s Medical Center at the age of 95.
Born June 10, 1910, in the Philippines, he worked for a coffee company.
He is survived by his wife; Hilaria D. Juliano; four sons; John D. Juliano, Juanito D. (Maribel) Juliano, Robert D. (Rowena) Juliano and Ferdinand D. (Madelyn) Juliano; three daughters; Julie D.J. (Kenny) Luis, Jr., Mary Ann (Rolando) Ballesteros, and Jannette Juliano; 15 granddaughters and two grandsons; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Friday, June 2, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, June 3, from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church ,where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by Father Bill. Burial to folow at Lihue Cemetery.

Sueko Nishioka
Sueko Nishioka of Hanama‘ulu died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 22, 2006 at the age of 75. Born in Waipouli on Sept. 30, 1930, she was a homemaker, mother and wife.
She is survived by three daughters; Laura Nishioka of Hanama‘ulu, Patricia (Edwin) Ramos of Lihu‘e, Adele Fernandes of Kapa‘a, three brothers; Frank (Toshiko) Kaneshiro of Kapa‘a, Soichi “Boy” (Jackie) Kaneshiro of Kapa‘a, Asaichi Francis (Louise) Kaneshiro of O‘ahu, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were private.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted family with arrangements.
