Come learn about natural foods, tasty snacks and simple exercises for diabetes from a Grandmaster.
Grandmaster Hong Liu will share an evening seminar on natural healing approaches to diabetes on May 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Qi Center in Lihu‘e, states a press release.
One of the most common clusters of symptoms and diseases in Hawai‘i today is diabetes. Diet, stress and aging all have an effect on the onset and development of this disease as well as on general health, states the release.
Grandmaster Hong Liu will offer complementary healing methods that he has been taught from the 5,000 year-old tradition of Chinese medicine, called Qi Gong. “After 5,000 years of empirical observation, (Qi Gong) has discarded the cures that don’t work and kept the approaches to disease, including exercise, natural medicine and diet that do work,” Grandmaster Hong said in the release.
Not only is Master Hong a student and Grandmaster of Qi Gong, but he takes an integrative approach to western medicine as well. He notes that over the last few decades the advances in western science have in many cases validated folk medicines and practices from China and around the globe. The advancement of microbiology and DNA research are especially notable in this regard, he said in the release.
Please come and meet Grandmaster Hong Liu at this free seminar, it may be enlightening for those with diabetes conditions.
