This Saturday the Blue Water Response Team, a rapid response statewide volunteer network under the Sierra Club, is hosting a presentation and training that is free and open to the public. The Hawai‘i Chapter’s Blue Water Campaign event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Kapa‘a Library, and 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Hale Halawai (Hanalei Community Center).
Learn about Hawai‘i’s coastal marine resources and water quality issues, the effects of land-based pollution and receive free training on how to spot and document potential water violations. Become a Blue Water Response Team volunteer and help protect your own community.
Working together, everyoner can help protect Hawai‘i’s blue water.
