There are still “seats” available in Future Flight Hawaii’s mission to the International Space Station this summer.
Enrollment is filling fast and will close in three weeks to prepare for the simulated mission for the rendezvous in space.
The popular Day Exploration Program for students currently in grades 3 through 6 will run from June 19 to June 23, from 8 a.m. to noon at Kaua‘i Community College.
Modules will include cat-a-pult physics, water monitoring of life support systems, microgravity, rocketry and robotics.
The new RoboTech Exploration Program has been added for middle school students currently in grades 5 through 8. RoboTech will run from June 19 to June 22, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Kaua’i Community College.
Students will build and test various technologies including robots and other devices.
Tuition for both programs is $175.
