Westside Wrestling club members Daniel Quinlan and Cory Howatt came in third place and Lennox “Bulla” Alo finished second, but Latisha brought home the gold from the USA Wrestling sanctioned tournament held at Leilehua High School.

She will lead the Westside Wrestlers to USAW-sanctioned tournaments at Halemano
Gym on O‘ahu the next two weekends.
On May 20, the club travels to Maui for the AAU State Championships. The summer season wraps up at the USA Wrestling State Championships at the annual Aloha State Games Tournament June 17 on O‘ahu.
On June 9, Westside Wrestling will host a clinic taught by 2000 U.S. Olympic gold medalist Brandon Slay.
On June 10, Westside Wrestling will host Kauai’s second annual USA Wrestling sanctioned tournament.
Both events will be at the Waimea High School Gym. For information about the clinic and tournament contact Pigott at westsidewrestling@hawaii.rr.com.
