Kauai United Way, along with four other good local causes, will benefit from the proceeds of sales of the recorded music, performed by five local musical artists, this Friday, at Small Town Coffee on Kuhio Highway in Kapa‘a.
Starting at 6:30 p.m., and finishing around 9:30 p.m., each artist will perform live, in front of members of an audience, and all in the audience will be encouraged to support the good causes by logging on to the free wireless feed and sending some music from each artist to their friends around the world, or- ganizers said in a press release.
Those attending are asked to bring two items of organic food for the Kauai Food Bank per person.
A Gift of Music Benefit Night features Jeremy Hartshorn, cafe owner, who will play guitar and sing folk and other tunes, from 6:15 p.m.
At 6:40 p.m., Levi Levitt, singer, songwriter, guitar player, will get a bit funky, followed by Amy and Julian, Robert Sequoia and Friends, and wrapping up with the Buddha Studios Band.
