Members of the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce announced in a press release the availability of three, $1,000 scholarships, to be awarded to high-school seniors of Kaua‘i who are planning to enroll full-time in any two- or four-year institution of higher learning and major in business or a business-related field.
The scholarship funds will be generated from the Chamber’s Third Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, on May 21 at the Poipu Bay Golf Course.
Scholarship applications are available at the three public high schools, or at the Chamber office in the Lihue Plantation Building behind First Hawaiian Bank off Rice Street in Lihu‘e.
Completed applications must be mailed to the Scholarship Committee at the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 1969, Lihu‘e, HI 96766, or 2970 Kele St., Suite 112, Lihu‘e, HI 96766, postmarked no later than May 5.
The Chamber is still accepting hole sponsors, donations, and golfers for the tournament. Hole sponsorship, donation and golfer registration forms are available at the Chamber office, or by calling 245-7363.
