Gervacia “Bas” Diccion
Gervacia “Bas” Diccion of Honolulu, O’ahu, died March 31, 2006, at Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi at the age of 79.
She was born May 13, 1926, in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
She is survived by daughters Mary Jane A. Diccion and Holly A. (Mitchell) Moy; brother: Fabian Toribio; sisters: Aquilina T. Santos and Iluminada T. Respicio; three grandchildren.
Visitation from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 17, at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation also at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at St. Elizabeth Church (99-312 Moanalua Rd., Aiea) Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. and burial at 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
Aloha attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by the staff of Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary.
Raphael Rapozo
Raphael Rapozo of Hanama’ulu died on April 5, 2006, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 88.
He was born in Lihu’e on Sept. 14, 1917, and retired as a machinist with Lihue Sugar Plantation.
He is survived by two sisters; Olivia Edwards and Ester Rapozo of Honolulu, caregivers; David and Dolores Dias of Hanama’ulu, numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, at Immaculate Conception church with viewing at 9:00 a.m. and mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery in Kapaia.
The staff of Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
