• Tentative subdivision action on a 10lot subdivision in Koloa for Kukui’ula Development Company (Hawai’i); a 14-lot subdivision at Kukui’ula for Kukui’ula Development Company (Hawaii); a 26-lot subdivision in Lihu’e for Grove Farm Properties and a two-lot consolidation in Aliomanu for Benjamin Bollag.

• Final subdivision approval fora 19-lot subdivision at Kukui’ula for Kukui’ula Development Company (Hawai’i) and a two-lot consolidation in Waimea for Basilio B. and Mildred S. Fuertes and the state of Hawai’i.

KAUA’I PLANNING COMMISSION HEARINGS CONTINUATION

• Request by Kauai Lagoons, KD Golf Ownership and KD Kapule for a general plan amendment and zoning amendment for a resort project on 233 acres in Lihu’e.

• Request for permits from Coconut Plantation Holdings for a resort at Waipouli consisting of 192-multifamily units, six hotel rooms, parking and other amenities; • Request for permits from Coconut Beach Development for a resort with 343 multi-family units and other amenities at Waipouli;

• Request for permits from the Historic Koloa Village for a commercial shopping center and office complex and 31 multi-family units in Koloa.

Historic County Building

• Flood impact; Hawaii State Association of Counties for fiscal year 2006-2007; work of Board of Ethics related to former Kaua’i Police Commissioner Michael Ching and Kaua’i Police Chief K.C. Lum; latest planning technology; cleanup of flooded areas on Wailapa Stream in Kilauea in the aftermath of the March 14 dam breach that claimed seven lives; three-way intersection with stop signs to help deter speeding on Weke Road in Hanalei and regional park at Salt Pond Park in Hanapepe.
