Kapaa High Project Grad meeting on

It’s getting down to crunch time for planners of the Kapa’a High School Project Grad event, a drugand alcohol-free, allnight, graduation-night party.

There is a planning meeting set for April 17 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Student Activities Coordinator’s office on campus.

There will be discussion and handing out of volunteer forms to people in attendance to help recruit volunteers for the event, being held on May 26, right after graduation.

Call is out for readers at festival

Although the Fifth Annual Kauai Keiki Story Festival is not until late October, organizers are putting out an early call for celebrity readers, vendor participants, entertainers, volunteers, and anyone else interested, states a press release.

October is Children & Youth Month, and the event is set for Oct. 28 at The Storybook Theatre of Hawaii in Hanapepe.

Call Janice Bond, 246-0174, Mark Jeffers, 332-0712, or Anna Peters, 632-2114, for more information.
