The Nominating Committee of the Hawai’i Supreme Court is seeking a non-lawyer community representative to serve as a trustee for a 5-year term beginning May 3.
The position is voluntary and uncompensated.
The duties of the trustees of the Lawyers’ Fund are: administering and operating the Fund which provides reimbursement of losses caused by dishonest conduct of lawyers. Members must have an affirmative interest in the organization; be willing and able to devote time to perform necessary duties; and be conscientious, studious, thorough and diligent in learning the methods and problems of the organization.
