Koloa Canoe Club plans Saturday event

Koloa Outrigger Canoe Club will be hosting their third annual Prince Kuhio Day Luau and Concert Saturday.

A fabulous evening of entertainment awaits, including the Makaha Sons of Ni’ihau and special guest Sister Robi Kahakalau.

American Cancer Society softball tournament

The third annual Open Men’s Softball Tournament for Connie’s Fighters and Survivors happens on April 7-9 at the Waimea Canyon School Ballpark. All the proceeds for the event goes directly towards the American Cancer Society.

The entry fee is $250 and is in loving memory of Connie DeCosta, Vincent Wisneski, Raymond Ebero, Kenneth Hesapene, Ainsworth (Shige) Shimatsu, and Althea Lazaro.

In the meantime, the second annual Senior Citizens Softball Tournament goes on from April 10-12 at the Waimea Canyon School Ballpark. Entry fee is also $250 per team.
