Golfers have a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas in the Habitat for Humanity/Aloha Lumber golf tournament on April 30.
Applications for the tournament are available at the Aloha Lumber Co. in Kapa’a as well as at the Habitat for Humanity office for the tournament that will take place at the Princeville Makai Golf Course.
Tournament format is a 2-person scramble (low net score) with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m.
Thirty percent of the teams total GHIN System Handicap will be in effect. Those players not having a GHIN handicap must provide an 18-hole average score from which the Golf Committee will determine a handicap.
Registration fee is $100 per golfer with $60 being tax-deductible.
The registration fee includes green fees, tee gift, cart and lunch that follows the tournament.
Early registration for this tournament is encouraged. Organizers said golfers who register before March 28 will receive two free mulligans.
Mulligans to a maximum of three may be purchased for $5 each.
The top 15 teams will qualify for the 30 team prizes including the Las Vegas trip, and two Neighbor Island golf weekend. Both team members to receive the prize. Prize order will be determined by a drawing.
