Sarai Ann Hedgeman Reyes of Kapa’a died March 7, 2006, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 7.
Born Feb. 12, 1999, in Lihu’e, she was a student at Kapa’a Elementary School.
She is survived by her mother, Clarissa Reyes; uncle, Brian Cadiam; grandparents, Patricia and Bernardo Reyes Sr. and Calvin and Rose Hedgeman; aunts, Luisita (Ali-ivaa) Valaau and Elizabeth Hedgeman; uncles Bernardo (Eliros) Reyes Jr. and Edmundo Reyes; father, Mark J. Hedgeman; cousins: Chantel, Chelsey, Alisa, Charele, Kevin, Justin and Andrew; and numerous other aunts, uncles, family members and friends.
Friends may visit with the family beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 17, at Immaculate Conception Church, where Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Bill. Burial will follow at St. Catherine Church Cemetery in Kapa’a.
The family asks that casual attire be worn.
Arrangements are being handled by staff members of Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
