An expert in both Eastern and Western healing practices says that the effects of certain types of heart disease are reversible.
Grandmaster Hong Liu, founder of the Qi Center on Kanakolu Street in the old Immaculate Conception School site in Isenberg Tract subdivision in Lihu’e, usually leads free, monthly, natural-healing seminars.
The next one is tomorrow, in the evening, at the center.
Participants learn about a complementary approach to heart-related diseases, taking the best from conventional medicine and natural healing, center officials said in a press release.
Center officials offer a range of natural-healing seminars free to the public each month, covering a broad range of disease and general health issues.
They advocate proven natural-healing practices along with conventional medicine as a cogent approach to disease prevention and rehabilitation.
In addition to heart disease, diabetes, asthma and allergies and obesity will be addressed throughout the year.
