Junior golfers on Kaua’i will get a chance to learn first-hand from college golf coaches and players at the 7th Annual Kaua’I Collegiate Cup Junior Golf Clinic at Puakea Golf Course, Wednesday, March 15.
According to a press release, the event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will feature one-on-one instruction from college coaches and players.
Among the topics to be discussed are swing mechanics, grip, stance and course management, as well as tips on preparing for college golf.
The clinic is open to junior golfers on Kaua’i and will feature instruction from coaches and players who are on the Garden Isle to compete in the 7th annual Kaua’i Collegiate Cup golf tournament on the Princeville Makai Course, March 17 and 18.
The institutions scheduled to participate in the tournament are the host school, Western Kentucky University, along with Brigham Young University-Hawai’i, Illinois State University, Murray State University, North Dakota State University, Princeton University, Rollins College, Skidmore College, University of Toronto, Walters State Community College, Western Illinois University and Yale University.
