Boys and girls ages 8 – 13 are invited to participate in an unique opportunity to showcase their athletic abilities in four sports – basketball, soccer, tennis, and track & field – for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete where the U.S. Olympians train – the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Junior Olympic Skills Competition, presented by Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes, is the official youth skills competition of the U.S. Olympic Team. Jr. Olympic Skills is a great way for youth organizations nationwide to put their town on the map and allow children in their community the opportunity to compete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.
Organizations interested in hosting any or all of the sport(s) local competitions may visit www.usolympicteam.com/JOSkills/ or call 770-641-7531.
This free grass roots program is intended to encourage youth participation in sport, emphasize fair and friendly competition, and to teach and promote a healthy lifestyle.
