The Kauai Children’s Discovery Museum’s annual Mardi Gras Party and Fund-raiser will be held on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the museum in Kaua‘i Village shopping center in Waipouli.
There will be New Orleans-type food, drinks (including Hurricanes), music, a silent auction, door prizes, and more.
Participants are urged to come in Mardi Gras dress costumes (including beads, boas, masks, etc.).
Fortune tellers will look into their future, museum board members said in a press release.
Only 100 tickets are available for this event, and even at $100 per ticket board members are confident the event will be sold out.
For those who cannot attend but want to help out, board members are looking for additional volunteers and silent-auction items.
Call Jean Camp, president of the board of directors of the Kauai Children’s Discovery Museum, 821-1093 or 639-0613, for tickets, input, questions, or more information.
