Three KIF schools head to Ke’ehi Lagoon

Kapa’a’s boys, girls, and mixed teams, along with Kaua’i’s girls, and Kula’s boys and mixed squads will battle the rest of the state on Friday in the 5th Annual HHSAA/First Hawaiian Bank Canoe Paddling State Championships.

The contest takes place at Ke’ehi Lagoon on O’ahu, with the races scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Kamehameha took both the boys and girls state titles last season and Castle triumphed in the mixed race.
