Shizue Shibao

Shizue Shibao of Kapa’a died at home on Feb. 6, 2006, at the age of 92.

Born in Honaunau, Hawai’i on April 30, 1913, she retired as a produce stocker for Nakamura Store. She is survived by two sons: Lincoln (Mary) Shibao of Mililani, O’ahu, and Gordon (Shirley) Shibao of Kapa’a; daughter, Susan (Bob) Allen of Port Orchard, Wash.; one brother, Tamotsu Hirayama of Kalaheo; six grandchildren, four great-grand-children, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit with family 10 a.m. at Kauai Soto Zen Temple Zenshuji in Hanapepe.

Arrangements are being handled by members of the staff of Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
