The paniolo lifestyle carries on at CJM Country Stables in Po’ipu on Friday, Feb. 10.
According to a press release, the island’s best dally team ropers will match their skills in high stakes competition.
With an entry fee of $500 per team, the payoffs will be among the highest offered on Kaua’i.
The public is invited to enjoy the fast-paced action and stay on to celebrate with the winning cowboys at the Ohana Productions concert, featuring Katcha Fire from New Zeaand, Bub, and Oshen. There will be food booths that will serve items throughout the evening.
Gates open at 4 p.m., with roping action to begin at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance at the gate up to 6 p.m. Gate tickets after 6 p.m. are $35.
There are a few slots still open for dally team ropers, and Joyce Miranda encourages ropers to sign up at $200 per man, or $500 per team.
For more information on entering the match, or advance tickets, contact Miranda at 742-6096.
