Q: When did you join the prosecuting attorney’s office?

A: Jan. 11.

Q: What kinds of cases are you handling?

A: Juvenile cases.

Q: Have you always wanted to be an attorney?

A: Since I was 15 years old. I took a criminal justice course in high school. Part of the requirement was having a “mock trial.” I was the defense attorney. My client was acquitted.

From that point in time, I was hooked.

Q: Where are you from?

A: I was born and raised in Los Angeles.

Q: What is your favorite local food?

A: ‘Ahi poke.
