Morales takes first race of 2006
With many races cancelled due to bad weather, the Garden Isle R/C Racers finally got a beautiful day for racing this past Sunday.
14-year-old Seth Morales stole the show and battled intensely with fast competitors for the overall win on the 4wd nitro sedan A division. Reggie Aribon and Dennis Ginez also fared well on Sunday.
Morales was followed by Bongie Gorospe, Wendell Esposo, Ginez, and Noel Udaundo.
Aribon cruised past Aaron Arizo, John Echalar, Roland Ruiz, Dimi Rivera, and Bart Garcia.
The next race is on Jan. 29 at the Wailua Off-Road Track at 10 a.m.
There is no admission charge and the group would like to thank Jarrett “The Ferret” Chytka for the use of the parking lot.
