Considered by many as the next Kauaian in line to challenge for a WCT (World Championship Tour) title, Hanalei’s Roy Powers earned a spot recently on the WCT seedings.
Powers finished up 2005 strong as the seventh best surfer in the WQS (World Qualifying Series).
Hanalei’s Andy and Bruce Irons also received seeds, with Andy finishing up at #2 and Bruce holding down the ninth spot.
