Kaulupono Girls, Team Swish lead county’s 14 U basketball

Kathleen Cadiente finished with a game-high 14 points to lead Team Swish to a 29-20 win over Wailua in their Dec. 21 outing in the county’s 14 Under girls basketball league.

Kaira Kupihea and Jondi Das each chalked up 8 points to lead the Wailua effort.

In the opener, Mahea Grace and Justine Holt each finished with 6 points, and Maile Dreier added 5 as Gee’s Angels bested Island School, 29-7. Chelsea Chock notched 5 points to lead Island School.

Natalie Mata had 10 points, and Kori Sakamoto added 9 marks as the Kaulupono Girls topped Gee’s Angels, 46-18 on Tuesday, Dec. 20 in Kalaheo.

Dreier led the Angels with 8 points.

Kira Nakamura and Kupihea each notched 10 points in their 35-9 win over Island School who got 4 points from Hayley Uliana and 3 from Hartley Dabin.

Das and Victoria Tuttle each finished with 10 points in their 38-9 finish over Island School, Monday, Dec. 19 in Kalaheo. Kupihea added 9 for Wailua, and Dabin led the Island School effort with 3.

Mata notched a game-high dozen points and Lorrine Lagoc-Agrade chipped in 10 points as Kaulupono Girls topped the Gee’s Angels, 50-22. Aarika Camara, Mahea Grace, and Dreier led the Angels, Grace finishing with 8 points, and Grace and Dreier chalking up 6 apiece.

Lagoc-Agrade and Mata each chalked up 11 points as Kaulupono Girls singed Wailua 39-23 on Dec. 17 at the Raiderdome. Das topped the Wailua effort with 10 points.

Janessa Grady bucketed 10 points to lead Team Swish to a 26-4 showing over Island School with Melissa Seymour and Dabin accounting the Island scoring with a pair each.
