Dabin ignites for 10 points

Hartley Dabin finished with a gamehigh 10 points, but Island School fell to Wailua, 31-16 in the county’s 14 under girls basketball, Wednesday.

Dabin’s score in the effort equalled the performance of Wailua’s Victoria Tuttle who also finished with 10 points in the win. Lynsi Nakamura and Kaira Kupihea each tallied eight points.

Megan Chock and Hayley Uliana each contributed four points apiece to the Island School effort at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.

Natalie Mata had 10 points, and Erin Connelly contributed seven points as Kaulupono Girls swept over Gee’s Angels, 42-21 in the second contest.

Justine Holt chalked up 10 points to lead the Angels’ efforts.
