One-stop real estate firm open in Lihu’e

Like those at many other real-estate firms on the island, the professionals at Tropical Paradise Realty have a special buyers’ program with an aggressive campaign to locate properties not currently on the market for sale.

Unlike leaders of most companies, though, Principal Broker Tracy Davidson has put together under one roof members of a team of real-estate professionals that also include an attorney at law who specializes in tax-deferred exchanges, estate planning, tax planning, and wills and trusts, and a mortgage-services company representative who offers complete mortgage and escrow services.

“It’s nice to be able to offer your client everything” under one roof, said Davidson, pointing out that the attorney and mortgage-services professionals don’t sublease office space from her, and are independent contractors she simply provides office space for.

“We are like a family,” and the setting makes it convenient for buyers and sellers to be able to handle all their paperwork needs in one location, Davidson explained.

Now, people don’t have to go to three or four places to be pre-qualified, get answers to trust and tax questions, and get other real-estate needs taken care of, she said.

Both the attorney and mortgage broker offer free consultations, she added.

Davidson opened the business in May, and had an overflow crowd at the grand opening last month in the Dynasty Court building on Pahe’e Street in Kukui Grove Village West, she said.

She had to do little recruiting for agents, even in today’s tight Kaua’i job market. The agents came to her door, drawn, she’s sure, by the positive vibes of Davidson, an inspired and motivated real-estate professional who inspires and motivates others, she said.

The attorney, Stephen Reese, came to her, and Veronica Lovesy, of Creative Capital & Mortgage, was Davidson’s client, she said.

The professionals at Tropical Paradise Realty also specialize in making homes ready for sale, she added.
