The softball teams swing into action on Tuesday, December 27, with Kapa’a and Waimea opening up the second round at Waimea Canyon Field, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Then on Friday, the Red Raiders and Warriors will wage war against each other in doubleheader action at Isenberg Field, beginning at 10 a.m.
Kaua’i is the first round champion with a 5-1 record, followed by Waimea at 4-2, and Kapa’a at 0-6.
Meanwhile, KIF soccer takes today off and will continue play on Wednesday, December 28 (Kaua’i/Kapa’a JV only matches at Hanapepe Stadium, 5 p.m.).
The varsity games resume on Thursday, December 29, with Kaua’i battling Kapa’a, starting at 5 p.m. with the girls’ match.
The Warrior girls are in first-place with a tally of 3-0, followed by Kaua’i at 1-1, and Waimea at 0-3. The boys race is at a deadlock, as both Kapa’a and Waimea share 2-1 records. Kaua’i holds onto a 0-2 tally.
