Horan Chomicz named at Starwood

Officials at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Hawaii recently announced the appointment of Lynne Horan Chomicz, CMP, as account director, Hawai’i region.

Based in Chicago, Horan Chomicz will focus on assigned secondary incentive houses and corporate-end-user customers in the Midwest, Southeast and Northeast markets.

Additionally, Horan Chomicz will cover Starwood Hawaii’s preferred-travel-agency accounts, make wholesale reservation presentations, and attend trade shows and events for accounts located in the Midwest region.

Starwood’s Kaua’i properties include the Princeville Resort (hotel), Sheraton Kauai Resort in Po’ipu, and an under-construction timeshare resort also at Princeville.

Before moving to Chicago earlier this year, Horan Chomicz was the account director for group sales at the Sheraton Maui Resort.

Prior to joining Starwood Hotels & Resorts Hawaii in 2000, she was an account manager for Capital Travel Incentives. Horan Chomicz holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and human resources from the University of St. Thomas.
