They’re not called the “Dirty Dozen” for nothing.
After competing against each other for years, it finally came the time to joust for the special from Sueoka’s Store, that’s not on the menu list.
The third annual Dirty Dozen Tennis Championships, sponsored by Sueoka’s Store, were held at the Po’ipu Kai Resort Tennis Courts on October 26.
The champion of this year’s tournament was Jimmy “V” Viado. Bob Matsumoto and Steve Slatterbeck took second and third, respectively.
Slatterbeck was 2003’s winner and Rick Hanna won in 2004.
The Dirty Dozen includes Charlie “Da Hamma” Ortiz, Rollie Pilaria, Harry Smith, Bob Weiner, Wayne Gunning, Calvin Speegle, Steve Slatter-beck, John Sommerville, Rod Sueoka, Paul Du Clos, and Jimmy Viado.
