The PBRA’s Visitor Profile Survey, published in late 2004, the primary activity for visitors to the island is shopping (71 percent of those surveyed), and ocean swimming coming in second (67 percent).
- A full 79 percent of the island’s annual visitors own a piece of paradise, including second homes, timeshare units or condominiums.
