KAUA’I AND HAWAI’I BY THE NUMBERS

. According to County of Kaua’i Department of Finance Director Michael Tresler, the total taxpayer cost for sending five county employees to San Francisco for the bond presentation was $7,229.65.

. Year-to-date visitor spending on Kaua’i is $874.9 million, up 6.4 percent from last year, according to the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT).

. Air visitors to Hawai’i have spent a total of $8.6 billion during the first nine months of the year, according to DBEDT.
