Kaua’iKapa’a showdown this Friday

It’s going to be a test, but Kaua’i has all the tools to make it past the tough challenge Kapa’a puts down on Friday night, as the Red Raiders battle the Warriors at Vidinha Stadium on their homecoming celebration.

Head coach Keli’i Morgado has his squad ready to put more points on the board against a Kapa’a squad that would like nothing better than to play spoiler.

Kaua’i has yet to find its starting quarterback and will alternate the spot to Kainoa Lemke and Tron Rule. In their last game, Lemke and Rule proved to be a tough combo in the blowout victory at Vidinha Stadium.

However, Kapa’a is hungry for its first win of the season, despite its numerous injuries.

Catch Kaua’i’s homecoming at halftime, with the contest starting at 5 p.m. with the JV game and the varsity contest beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The Red Raiders are 3-0-1 on the season and the Warriors are 0-5. The Menehune are in second-place at 3-1-1.

The game will be broadcasted on Kong AM 570, starting at 7:30 p.m.
