Kaua’i Police Department dispatch operators received a call at around 7 p.m. about an old, mangled, maroon bike that was propped up against a guardrail in the vicinity, a county spokesperson said.
When police officers went to check out the report, they discovered the body behind a guardrail between mile markers 4 and 5.
