Kapa’a could inch closer to both KIF volleyball titles on Saturday

For the first time in recent memory, the Warrior volleyball squads are both 6-0 on the season. On Saturday, the girls defeated Kaua’i, 16-25, 25-22, 27-25, 25-16.

The boys cruised to a 25-19, 26-24, 25-14 win over the Red Raiders.

Tonight at the Raiderdome, Kaua’i will battle the Menehune, starting at 5 p.m.

Waimea and the Red Raiders need to win to keep their KIF title hopes alive.

Kapa’a hosts Waimea on Saturday. The Warriors have already won the KIF’s first round crowns.
