KAUA’I AND HAWAI’I BY THE NUMBERS Nearly half of Kaua’i’s adult population is 50 or older, according to Hersh Singer, chairman of SMS Research, a Honolulu-based company. Thirty percent of Kaua’i’s adult population is between 50 and 64 years old.
