Two of the three teams that make up the Kaua’i Babe Ruth league will face off 4:30 this afternoon at the Ron Martin field in Kapa’a marking the start of the Babe Ruth season which runs through Tuesday, July 5.
AllKine and Kapa’a will square off in the season opener with the third team, Southside, waiting until Thursday afternoon when they meet Kapa’a at Vidinha Stadium starting at 4:30 p.m.
Week day games will start at 4:30 p.m. with the Saturday doubleheaders starting at 10 a.m., and the second game starting at 12:30 p.m.
Game sites alternate between the Ron Martin field at Kapa’a High School and Vidinha Stadium.
Saturday’s games will feature South-side battling AllKine in the 10 a.m. opener followed by Kapa’a meeting Southside in the afternoon finale.
Rain out games are scheduled for July 7 and July 9, if necessary with fields to be announced.
