Kaua‘i Motocross racers enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend at the Wailua Moto-X Track for some fellowship and competition.
Makana DeSilva headed up the mini B division with a win over Anuhea Huddy and Darian Gerardo.
Kelli Berry was the mini wahine winner and Malia Byram and Anuhea Huddy were close behind, taking the second and third spots.
Brian “Backstreet Boy” Medeiros ousted Brandon Carvalho in the 60 B division and Jesse Britt beat out Riley Takayama in the Fast 50’s race.
Isaac Oshita and Chava Greenlee battled in the veterans contest, with Kendall Goo looking in, but Oshita utilized his amazing skills for the title, leaving Greenlee and Goo in the dust.
Jake Monroe took the 80 A championship over Mikey Blackstad and Jerrid Ham Young.
Jesse Britt was the only finisher in the 125 Expert race and Taryn Pagador was the wicked wahine winner over Crystal Victorino.
Ryder Mueller and Chris Byram won both the 125 novice and 80 B races.
Val Balauro Jr. and Alex Berry were the runner-ups.
Randen Allianic won the 125 amateur competition with Kody Pagador in second, but Kody Boy came back to triumph in the 250 amateur over Luther Burney.
Jesse Britt won his second race of the day, over Puna Gallardo and Jake Britt. Leonard Cabinatan and Mikey Abell fought hard in the 250 novice race, but Cabinatan came away with the last laugh and the victory.
Paul Medeiros and Pancho Lopez took the Quads A and B titles over Craig Fujimoto and Bully Boy Ventar.
Sherri Braun raced away with the Quads Wahine win over Cassie Aguirre and Chris Walcher flattened Art Rosquetta in the flat B competition.
Riley Takayama and Jeff Gallardo took the Flat X and A titles.
