I would like to thank Joe Ka‘auwai and the KPD for coming up with an innovative idea for traffic relief at the Kapule/Kuhio Hwy intersection in Hanama‘ulu during rush hour.
When they are set up there, getting home to Wailua after a long day of work is much quicker and less painful when coming from the South Side.

John Wyatt makes a good point on Saturday’s Letter to the Editor. But using interisland flights to the Princeville airport falls a bit short when Kauai appears to be ready for intercity flights. Why, uh, gee…a…one 747 in the morning from Princeville to Lihu‘e and another in the afternoon reversed…well…traffic pau.
And Barking Sands? Hanalei to Nawiliwili Superferry? Well we were just thinking above and outside the circle, that is the island.
One old timer in Kapa‘a suggested that the Kamalani Bridge crew should build the Olohena Bridge. Pau that in a few days for $30,000; most of which spent for juice and plate lunch.
