Hiilei Maile Hooikaika
Hiilei Maile Hooikaika of Anahola died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on March 28, 2005, at the age of 2.
She was born in Lihu‘e, on Sept. 3, 2002.
She is survived by her parents Billy and Ellen Hooikaika of Anahola; two sisters, Breana Reyes and Puanani Reyes and one brother, Preston “Baba” Reyes, all of Anahola; grandparents, Valentine and Maile Adric of Anahola, Emmaline Hooikaika of Anahola, James Reyes of Anahola, and great-grandfather, George Ai Sr. of Honolulu, numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 9, at the Veterans Hall in Lihu‘e from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Services will begin at 11:15 a.m. officiated by Bishop Frank Puni. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Kapaia.
Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Dorothy Wildman
Dorothy Jane Wildman of Lihu‘e died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on April 2, 2005, at the age of 96.
She was born in Port Orchard, Wash., on Oct. 21, 1908.
Predeceased by her son, Richard Wildman, she is survived by two daughters: Marjorie Mackay of Lihu‘e and Joyce Lande of Arizona; one son, Grant Wildman of Washington state; one sister, Rhoda Hovde of Arizona; 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held at a later date on the Mainland.
Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
David Dotimas
David Keiliuli Dotimas of ‘Eleele, Kauai, died at Kekaha on March 31, 2005 at the age of 56. Born in Waimea, Kauai on Aug. 1, 1948, he was a Truck Driver with Olokele Sugar Company. Preceded in death by brothers, Juan Ipac and Lawrence Dotimas. He is survived by three sons, David K. Dotimas Jr., of Kapaa; Kalin K. Dotimas of Kalaheo and Jon K. Bonachita of Kalaheo; two grandchildren; mother, Helen Kuwalu Dotimas; four brothers, Gilbert Dotimas, Mark Dotimas, Tony Dotimas and Jerome Dotimas; four sisters, Eileen Farias, Gloria Callejo, Gladys Dotimas and Avis Dotimas; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Sat., Apr. 9, 2005 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service to begin at 11 a.m. Followed by burial at the Hanapepe Public Cemetery.

Manuel Ornellas Sr.
Manuel Ornellas Sr. of Kapa‘a, died April 4, 2005, at his home at the age of 100.
Born Aug. 31, 1904, in Hanama‘ulu, he was a plumber for the County of Kaua‘i.
He is survived by his caregiver: Jerry (Myra) Ornellas of Kapa‘a; five grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Church where memorial ervices will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
