More on budget
Michael Tressler says the new “budget” has $10.5 million set aside for things the people want. The people spoke in November, overwhelmingly approving the Ohana Kauai resident property tax amendment. The Mayor and Council did not hear.
So, they are using voter money to nullify what the voters want. Wake up! The people have spoken and have just begun to speak. More will come until Kaua‘i elects representatives who are responsive to the needs of the voters, not arrogant tax and spenders jealous of their power.
