Howard “Kachi” Tadashi Yokotake Jr. of Ha‘ena died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on March 14, 2005, at the age of 51.
Born in Lihu‘e, on Dec. 15, he was employed by Pahio Construction.
He is survived by his spouse Valerie Ann Yokotake of Ha‘ena; one daughter, Shelby Ann Yokotake of Ha‘ena; one son, Howard Yokotake III (Ekolu) of Ha‘ena; father, Howard Yokotake Sr. (Charming) of Hanalei; two sisters, Naomi Yokotake of Ha‘ena, Akiko (Douglas) Chang of Hana, Maui; two brothers, Leggs (Sherri) Yokotake of Anahola, Mitsu (Vicky) Yokotake of Hanalei; hanai brother, Christian (Nani) Marston of Maui; father & mother in-law, Thomas & Annie Hashimoto of Kilauea and five grandchildren; numerous relatives & friends.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, March 19, at the Wai‘oli Hui‘ia Church at Hanalei from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Services will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
