Seven members of the Kaua‘i Motocross Riders Association recently returned home after participating in the Fifth Annual State Invitational Race on Maui.
The two day event was held at the Punene Raceway Park on Feb. 20-21.
The track layout was very technical and the key objective for the Kaua‘i riders was to ride smart. All seven members placed in their divisions.
Brian Morales won a $400 gift certificate on his pit bike B. Bully Boy Ventar got second-place on his Quad B. Jessie Britt got second (125 exp.) and third place (250 exp.).
Paul Medeiros, for the fourth year in a row, took the Quad A race.
Brian Medeiros won fourth place in the 65 B, Jake Monroe got third in the 85 A, and Chris Byram finished in fourth in the 85 B.
