Keith Asuncion of Lihu‘e, died Feb. 19, 2005, at Pali Momi Hospital in Aiea, O‘ahu , at the age of 46.
A carpenter, he was born May 1, 1958, in Lihu‘e.
He is survived by his wife: Moana Jean Haunani Asuncion of Kapa‘a; mother: Colette (Tevita) Tovi of Hanama‘ulu; father: Alfredo (Kathleen) Asuncion of Wailua; three sons: Keith Keoni Kiilau of Lihu‘e, Calvin Keala Kiilau of Lihu‘e and Clifford Keola Kiilau, of Lihu‘e; three sisters: Crystel (Randy) Chong Tim of Lihu‘e, Kimberly Hocson of Kapahi, and Jan Asuncion of Kapahi; four brothers: Wayne (Theresa) Asuncion of Kapa‘a, Clayton Asuncion of Lihu‘e, Alfred Asuncion of Kapahi and Raymond (Sara) Asuncion of Kilauea; four grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary, with services to follow. Bishop Stennett officiating
Private scattering of cremains will take place at Ahukini Landing.
Aloha attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Emilio Cadavona
Emilio Galicinao Cadavona of Kekaha, died at Kauai Care Center on Feb. 17, 2005, at the age of 82.
He was born in Lanao Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on May 22, 1922.
Preceded in death by his wife, Mercedes Rumbaoa Cadavona, he is survived by six sons, Epifanio (Zenaida) Cadavona of Makaweli, Eduardo (Espie) Cadavona of Kekaha, Ernie (Mila) Cadavona of Gardena, Calif., Eugene (Laurena) Cadavona of Las Vegas, Nev., Eliseo (Cora) Cadavona of Walnut, Calif., and Elpidio (Doreen) Cadavona of Honolulu; five daughters, Cres Cadavona of California, Clair Cadavona Pascual of Lihue, Conchita “Cads” (Ronald) Samio of Waimea, Celia (Sam) Banasihan of Hanapepe and Corazon (Frankie) Saligumba of Eleele Nani; 29 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Leona Guzman; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, Mar. 3, at ‘Ele‘ele Sacred Heart Catholic Church; Mass officiated by Father Biz will begin at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested.

Misao Ayabe
Misao Ayabe of Waimea, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on Feb. 23, 2005, at the age of 89. Born in Kaumakani, on March 14, 1915, she was the proprietor of K. Ayabe Store.
She is survived by son, David (Beryl) of Waimea; daughter, Dorothy (Herbert) Nagamine of San Jose, Calif.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Kobayashi of California; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
