Vivian Berman of Kapa‘a, died Jan. 10, 2005, at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital at the age of 81.
A sales clerk, she was born Feb. 3, 1923, in Oklahoma.
She is survived by her son: Jim Rawinson of Honolulu; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Infant Faith Taboniar
Infant Faith Kaiulani Taboniar died Jan. 12, 2005, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 12, 2005, in Lihu‘e.
She survived by her parents: Alice Wiltz and William “Billy” Taboniar; big sister Pricilla Ann K. Wiltz; brothers: Jay-B, Dillion K. Taboniar and Javis K. Taboniar; grandparents: Pedro Morales, Sheila Louis and Joseph Taboniar, Sr.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Arthur “Sonny” Doo
Arthur “Sonny” Doo of Kailua, died Jan. 7, 2005, in Kaneohe, at the age of 80.
Born May 28, 1924, in Honolulu, he was a retired appliance salesman.
He is survived by four daughters: Sandra “Titi” (Glenn) Johnson, Lavaina (Val) Huihui, Cindy (Val) Vasquez, and Shirlene (Guy) Oyadomari; three sons: Arthur “Kaui” (Sandy) Doo, Gordon (Cheryl) Doo and Francis Doo; two brothers; Alfred and Kimo Doo; sister: Elaine Noa; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 20, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. and services at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at the Hawai‘i State Veterans Cemetery at 1 p.m. Aloha attire is suggested.
